Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta Season 6
As we can see on Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta Season 6, Mimi has officially crossed over to the LGBT community. This year, her new female friend name is Melissa Scott. She is also one of the newest cast members on Love and Hip-hop Atlanta Season 6. Chris from last season is long gone and Mimi has moved on but is still messing around with females.
Who Is Melissa Scott?
She was born on August 23, 1975, and is currently 41 years old. She was born in Augusta but raised in Baltimore. She is a full-blown hustler who’s well-known in Hotlanta.
She is also a very popular DJ and goes by DJ M. She also owns a bar in Atlanta called Soul Bar At Pals Lounge where they sell real soul food. She throws some of the hottest bus parties in the ATL called Party Bus Animals. She is also the owner of the Traxx Girls, who is a promotional team of lesbians. As far as Love and Hip-hop Atlanta, Melissa took no time to get involved in the Love and Hip-hop drama. She is friends with all the ladies of Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta, who once all had beef with one another including Karlie Redd, Mimi and Joseline.
She loves playing the fence when it comes down to Mimi and Joseline, even though she knows Mimi can’t stand Joseline’s guts. Before she was cast on Love and Hip-Hop, she already knew many of the other cast members like Rasheeda and Kirk Frost, Tammy Rivera and Jessica Dime. In a previous LHHATL episode, Mimi confronted Melissa about her friendship with Joseline but that went nowhere. Melissa is going to remain friends with Joseline who she has known for years.
She also spilled the beans to Mimi she had been with Ariane Davis, Mimi’s best friend sexually years ago. That was brand new news to Mimi. She left out Melissa Scott’s home and later in the episode Mimi confronted Ariane about her past relationship with Melissa. Will Mimi continue to mess with Melissa knowing she slept with her friend 20 years ago and is close friends with her number #1 enemy, Joseline? Sure doesn’t seem like it. Maybe that’s why their friendship never went to the next level because of Melissa Scott’s old baggage.
Check her out on Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta, 8 p.m. Mondays on VH1.
